Hello I’m Louisa, your Student Opportunities officer for the year.
My role covers sports, societies, volunteering and RAG – giving you plenty of opportunities to get involved! I help to develop and support societies and clubs, as well as seeking out ways to make the student experience here at Aber the best it can be.
So many of our students say their time at university would not have been the same had they not been involved in one or more of our student groups, or had they not attended the great events the SU provides throughout the year. I would fully encourage new students to have a look at the range of sports and societies that we have on offer, and returning students to – it’s never too late to get involved! Remember, extra-curricular activities are a big CV booster for job prospects after you graduate.
